cloth shoe pattern

i VERY rarely pay for patterns, because 99.9% of the time you can find one online for free. but a few months ago, after searching for quite a while for the perfect cloth baby shoe pattern, i broke down and bought one off of etsy.

here's how they turned out...

i was really happy with my purchase and wish i could have shared the tutorial with everyone, but i couldn't. something about it being illegal and all. blah blah blah...

and here is why i love the internet people...

the other day i came across a pattern that is basically exactly the same but for FREE. oh how i love you cyberspace.

over at stardust shoes, joanna ever so kindly shares her cloth shoe pattern

a big thank you to her!!

{her pattern calls for a sole made with suede on one side and fabric on the other, but i like to make my soles out of soft leather. i think it holds up a little better, looks more legit and its one less step. always a plus in my book.}
